AstraZeneca is currently recruiting for my former role as a Junior Sales Force Effectiveness Analyst within the Analytics & Insights team based in Sydney.

This is a strong opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to break into pharma who enjoys analytical problem-solving and applied decision-making. The work itself is interesting and varied, with exposure well beyond a narrow analytics remit.

The role involves a mix of analytical, computational and technical work, alongside more strategic and people-facing responsibilities. You are involved in tackling substantive commercial questions, from territory structure and incentive design to planning, performance and system improvement, often with visibility across the broader organisation. The role supports field teams across Australia and New Zealand, and the work has clear downstream implications for how medicines are planned, resourced and ultimately reach patients. There is also room to innovate and improve how things are done, with the autonomy to take ideas through to implementation.

I’m very happy for anyone interested to reach out to discuss my experience in the role or ask questions about the work and where it can lead.

    Privacy by design

Annotations, saved resources, clinic progress and project drafts remain in this browser. The statistical simulations run in a Web Worker. The reproducibility inspector reads selected files locally and does not upload them.

    Verification

The production workflow checks TypeScript and Astro diagnostics, builds every static route, validates internal links and runs baseline metadata and accessibility checks.
